Browser Fingerprint
When you visit a website it can read dozens of small signals from your browser โ your screen size, fonts, timezone, language and more. Combined they form a unique "fingerprint" that can track you even without cookies. This test shows exactly what a site can see about you and how identifiable you are right now.

What Can a Website See About Me?
Every time you load a page, your browser sends a stream of information that requires no permission: your IP address and location, your User-Agent (browser, version and operating system), your language, screen resolution, timezone and much more. A website can also probe your device โ for example with Canvas, WebGL or font detection โ to fingerprint your graphics card, your installed fonts and the exact rendering behaviour of your browser.
By themselves these values are mostly harmless. Together they become a surprisingly stable identifier that can follow you across sites, even when you clear cookies or browse in private mode. The fingerprintability score on this page estimates how distinctive your browser is compared to other people. A high score means your browser is easy to single out.
This test runs entirely in your browser. It only shows you the data a website could collect; nothing is sent to our servers.
How the Score Is Built
The score out of 100 weighs the privacy-relevant signals: Canvas โ does the browser render slightly differently? WebGL โ does it expose your GPU? Fonts โ how many unique fonts are installed? Timezone โ are you geo-distinguishable? Language, screen and hardware concurrency add more resolution. The higher the score, the more of these signals are present and distinctive for your setup.
A practical tip: browsers with JavaScript disabled, hardened fingerprinting protections, and fewer installed fonts tend to score much lower โ and are therefore far harder to track.
Browser Fingerprint โ Frequently Asked Questions
What does the fingerprintability score of 100 mean?
A score of 100 means your browser reveals a very distinctive combination of signals that makes it easy to identify among many visitors. Most people score between 30 and 80. The score is an estimate, not a precise identity โ it tells you roughly how much "uniqueness" your browser exposes.
Can websites really track me without cookies?
Yes. Canvas, WebGL, installed fonts, screen size, timezone and similar values rarely change and differ from person to person. A website can combine them into a hash that stays stable across sessions, which is a well-known tracking technique that standard cookie-blocking does not stop.
How can I reduce my fingerprintability?
Use a privacy-focused browser or hardening extension that blocks or randomizes Canvas and WebGL access, disable third-party content, clear fonts, limit screen/sensor reporting, and do not install extra fonts just for aesthetics. Using a VPN also helps by removing the IP and geolocation part of the fingerprint.
Does this test store any of my fingerprint data?
No. The entire test runs in your browser with JavaScript and the results are shown to you only. Nothing is sent to, stored by or logged on our servers.
